Manufactured in a huge factory in Angvik in the Norwegian municipality of Gjemmes, Stompa are proud of their brand as it is known for supreme strength and quality. They also have another factory in Oppdal and the bright upholstery is produced both in Norway and England

Stompa is owned by Stig O. Jacobson and Stein R. Gronneroe who each own half of the company. Furniture has been made in their factory in Norway since 1906 as one of their grandfathers originally started production of top quality furniture. The Stompa brand itself actually started in the early 1960's.

The aim of Stompa Beds right from the outset was to create well manufactured, functional furniture that was made from the best quality materials. They wanted their beds to be strong and sturdy whilst at the same time being appealing to children! Right from the start of their company, Stompa bunk beds went down well with the consumer and still today, this product flies out of the door!

Stompa broke into the UK market in 1980 after realising that their beds and furniture were extremely marketable abroad. Today, Stompa beds are sold around the world by over 300 stockists and just over two thirds of their products are exported to countries such as England, Germany, Sweden and the Netherlands.

Stompa have continually developed their brand over many years of research and now have a full range of beds and furniture to be proud of! As well as bunk beds, Stompa do a wide range of other beds such as high sleepers, mid sleepers, cabin beds and toddler beds. Stompa products are really functional as well as sturdy. The Stompa Uno range in particular has many different pieces of matching furniture which will either fit underneath the main beds or will free stand somewhere else in the bedroom such as wardrobes, storage cubes and futon chair beds. This means that they are really adaptable to whatever needs you may have!
