I was a bit worried as I like to see purchases before buying but I had been looking around bed shops, so I had an idea of what I had ordered. The bed is actually very well made the leather finish is nice and the frame and slats are strong. I am 21 stone and I feel that the bed is gonna take my weight for a long time. The gas lift seems good quality and works well even with a heavy mattress. So go ahead and order you will not be unhappy. Sept 2009
