The Harmony Opal 1000 pocket sprung mattress (slimline) is an ideal option for anyone looking for good quality mattresses that fit perfectly on either bunk beds or guest beds! These particular types of bed are usually restricted to a mattress height of 17cm so that they stow away neatly (guest beds) or conform to safety standards for the top bunk (bunk beds/mid sleepers).
Made from superior quality fabrics and fillings, the Opal pocket mattress contains a core of 1000 individually pocketed springs (cotton pockets) which have a couple of benefits – firstly, as the springs are not tied together as in a standard open coil mattress, it means that they have the ability to mould to the bodies shape (creating all over support) and secondly due to the cotton pockets it means that the mattress is silent (no pinging when turning round in bed!).
The superior sprung unit is then encapsulated with plentiful layers of polyester to create maximum comfort whilst sleeping and is then perfectly upholstered with a luxury damask cover. To complete this wonderful pocket sprung mattress, traditional detailing is included such as wool tufting, flag stitched handles and brass air vents.
