How long does delivery normally take?
Delivery times will vary according to the model that you have chosen. Next to the add to the add to basket button on the product pages there is button that can be clicked to view delivery times. We hold hundreds of storage beds in stock for immediate despatch, whilst other models we have to order in. In stock items will normally take 2-3 days to delivery whilst out of stock items can typically take between 2 and 4 weeks. Once your order has been placed we will contact you with an updated delivery time.
Can you offer me a specific time slot?
We appreciate that time is precious and waiting around for a delivery can be difficult. For this reason we send 98% of orders on a professional 2 man delivery service. The 2 man delivery service will contact you the day prior to delivery and allocate you a 3-4 hour delivery time slot. By prior arrangement we can also arrange for our drivers to call you one hour in advance of delivery on the 2 man delivery service.
On small orders such as headboards,pillows and roll pack mattresses we may use a one man next day service this is classified as an all day delivery and delivery maybe made anytime between 7am and 6pm. Generally next day deliveries are usually made in the mornings however this is not guaranteed. Please note that one man delivery service only deliver to the entrance of your property, in the case of flats the one man carrier will only deliver to the communal entrance. If your order is being delivred on a one mand delivery service we will advise you of this inadvance

What happens if I can't take delivery of my bed on the agreed date.
If you accept a delivery date that you subsequently cannot meet we will do our best to rearrange delivery. Please note that if the delivery has to be rescheduled less than 2 working days prior to delivery you will be liable to pay the full cost price for redelivery.
Who do I contact with queries regarding my delivery?
Once you have placed your delivery and received your order confirmation you will be given an approximate w/c date for delivery. Should there be any change to this date we will contact you as soon as soon as possible to advise you. Should you have any queries on deliveries prior to your chosen delivery day please contact one of our customer advisors on Tel.0113 3220653. Should you be calling regarding your delivery on the day of delivery please refer to your order / despatch confirmation which will contain contact details for the nominated delivery company..
Will your delivery van get to my house?
Our contractors use a number of different vehicles but typically they are 7- ton extended vehicles - similar size to a furniture removal van. If you have any concerns for access of delivery vehicles please discuss this when you place your order we will do our best to work round any delivery constraints
I have a non standard door - will I get a bed through it?
Most bed frames are supplied flat pack in 2-3 boxes. Access is not usually a problem but it is your responsibility to ensure that the goods that you have ordered fit into your house. Should you have any concerns or queries please contact our customer service department and they will be able to confirm dimensions. Please note that virtually all our products come flat packed for home assembly, some items such as wardrobes and chests of drawers may come assembled. If you are ordering a super king size bed is especially important to check access
Do we remove old beds?
We do not remove old beds and mattresses for health reasons. Most local councils offer a removal service to encourage responsible recycling. No we don't take old beds away however we can recommend a Furniture recycling- company that maybe able to help Tel. 01924 375 252 www.frn.org.uk
How much does delivery cost?
We are able to deliver free to the UK mainland only; regrettably we are unable to deliver to Ireland and the Channel Islands. The following post codes in Scotland may incur additional delivery charges depending on your order and which courier we have to use: AB31-38, AB41-56, FK19-21, HS, IM1-9, IV1, IV3-56, KA27-28, KW, PA20-78, PH9, and PH15-44.
What sizes are available?
The sizes available depend upon the model that you have chosen. Most divan models are available in additional size options. The standard UK sizes are as follows: Single 90cm x 190cm (3"0 x 6"3) Double 135cm x 190cm (4"6 x 6"3) King Size 150cm x 200cm (5"0 x 6"6) Super King Size 180cm x 200cm (6"0 x 6"6) Please note frame beds are only available in the sizes indicated on the product option pages. If you can not see the size you want we maybe able to source very similar models in alternative sizes.
What type of leather do you use on Storage Beds?
We use a range of different types of leather depending on the mode. We use the following leather types: Bi-Cast: A polyurethane coating is placed over the hide for extra protection. This type of leather is extremely durable and perfect for those who want leather but are worried about the wear and tear of frequent use. Corrected Grain: This is a process where the textured feel is stamped onto the hide after it has been dyed. It allows the hide to be coloured in a number of various colour options. Corrected grain will not mark easily and will remain pristine and blemish free for years! Bonded leather which is small pieces of leather which have have been bound onto a fabric backing is also used on many models, this has the advantage of being durable and hard wearing.
What type of mattress fillings are used?
We supplly a wide range of different mattresses from a number of leading brand names such as Sealy, Rest Assured, Silentnight and Dorlux beds. The mattresses that we supply feature a number of different types of fillings, which depend upon the mattress specification. Please refer to individual model options for further details. What are your payment options?
Our standard means of payment are credit or debit card and we also accept Paypal.
Can I pay cash on delivery?
Unfortunately due to security risks we do not offer this payment option.
Do you offer any credit options?
Our aim at Storage Beds Direct is to offer every day low price, we do not inflate our prices to offer interest free credit.
Do your prices include VAT?
All prices quoted on this website include Vat.
Do I get a warranty or guarantee with my purchase?
All products on this website come with a 12 month warranty against defective design, workmanship, or faulty materials. Certain products may also come with a manufacturer's warranty which, extends beyond this period. In such instances we will endeavour to transfer to you the benefit of any manufacturer's warranty or guarantee given to us
Can I view the products in a showroom?
Yes. Many of our models are on display at out Warehouse Direct outlet in Huddersfield. Please refer to the 'Location' section of our site for directions, please note you may wish to check that we have the model on display that you are looking for before travelling. Due to the depth of our range it is not possible to display all items.
