The Aspen guest bed – natural is a new edition to the Storage Beds Direct website. Since this model has been added, it has proved to be a popular model with our customers due to its timeless design and all round versatility!
Made from extremely sturdy rubber wood that is now one of the furniture trades preferred building materials as it has strong properties as well as being environmentally friendly, the Aspen guest bed is a well made bed and extremely sturdy too due to both of the bed bases having solid wooden slats. The light wood colour of the guest bed means that it will suit all manner of surroundings!
The headboard and foot end of the Aspen guest bed feature a slatted design that is finished off with a plinth on the top of both ends. This bed is absolutely great due to its adaptable nature – it can either be used as two single beds or pushed together to make a super king size sleeping surface. The guest bed that stows neatly underneath the main bed when not in use has strong pop out legs that make it the same height as the other bed.
Both of the beds (main bed and guest bed) take standard UK sized 3ft Single mattresses (90 x 190cm – not included unless bought as a bundle deal). Please note that the mattress for the guest bed should be no higher than 17cm so that it can be put away easily underneath the main bed when not in use. Should you want to use the beds pushed together you would need two mattresses of the same height in order to create a level sleeping area.
